	Free surgeries for Cleft Lip & Palate in association with Smile Train, USA.
	Burns & Trauma Prevention Society, Aurangabad.
	This charitable organization having its office at Bembde hospital. It works for the prevention of Burns & Hand injuries at Industrial, Agricultural & House hold sites. It has published many articles, Posters, Calenders & also given training to the industrial workers about prevention of burns & other accidents while working in industries & at home. Also we have arranged lectures on safety & prevention of burns & accidents, at school level.

	It is a great honour that Bembde hospital is an active partner for this project. From Oct. 2007 till Nov 2009 we have done 80 free surgeries for the poor patients of cleft lip and palate.

Hand Surgery

1.Well equiped modern and one of the most advanced unit in Maharashtra.

2.It is the only microvascular and replantation surgery unit in the Central Maharashtra and Marathwada.

3.Till date we have successfully replanted & revascularised (critical and nonvascularised parts of hand, leg, etc.) Total 32 cases. It includes very rare and complex cases of segmental hand and wrist joint replant and crushed avulsed total hand replantation.

4.It is one of the very few dedicated hand surgery units in India equiped with Carl Zeiss Microscope, S & T equipments and C-arm machines.
