	Burns & Trauma Prevention Society, Aurangabad.
	This charitable organization having its office at Bembde hospital. It works for the prevention of Burns & Hand injuries at Industrial, Agricultural & House hold sites. It has published many articles, Posters, Calenders & also given training to the industrial workers about prevention of burns & other accidents while working in industries & at home. Also we have arranged lectures on safety & prevention of burns & accidents, at school level.

	It is a great honour that Bembde hospital is an active partner for this project. From Oct. 2007 till Nov 2008 we have done 80 free surgeries for the poor patients of cleft lip and palate.

ABOUT US

Dr.Ramakant H. Bembde

Dr,Bembde has completed M.Ch.-Plastic Surgery training at Topiwala National Medical College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital Mumbai. In Nair Hospital, worked under Dr. Mukund Jagannathan & Dr. Uday Bhatt. Awarded the degree of Diplomat Of National Board in Plastic Surgery in 1998. He has also done Research Fellowship in Cancer Reconstructive Surgery at one of the biggest cancer hospital in Asia - Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

These are the highest qualifications in the field of plastic surgery in India.

Dr.Bembde is one of the Few Plastic Surgeons in India to become the member of International Society Of Burn Injuries .

He has performed more than 6000 successful plastic surgery cases of different varieties during last 10 years.

LANDMARK -The first successful replantation in the dept. of Plastic Surgery Nair Hospital -wrist replant done independently in June 1997-using loup & few primitive microsurgery instruments.

Academic Activities

Presented many original research papers on Microvascular Replantation & Burns in many national conferences - APSICON, NABICON, MASICON & MOACON,etc.

Published original research article on Reconstruction For Cancer Of Penis in European journal of plastic surgery.

Dr. Bembde & his hospital team has very keen interest in the prevention of Burns & Hand trauma.

He is presenting prevention activities at schools, colleges & industrial sectors regularly as a social responsibility.

Dr. Sushma has completed her anaesthesia training & post graduation in 1999 from T.N.Medical college , Mumbai. Working as chief anesthesiologist and Intensivist in Bembde Hospital since November 1999 till date.

Routinely involved in all type of elective as well as emergency plastic, maxillofacial burns & orthopaedic cases.

Routinely involved in paediatric & cleft surgeries.

Giving Peripheral nerve blocks with and with out using Peripheral Nerve Stimulator,even in pediatric patients.

Vast experience of giving prolonged anesthesia especially for Replantation cases, where some times durations of anesthesia is more than 12 hours.
